First off, Gara is a dead wolf in the Shadowmoon Burial Grounds. In fact, she was Mother Om'ra (a rare in the area) pet.
First: You MUST be Beastmaster spec!
Second: You need to get Shadowberries by killing Mother Om'ra. (maybe...)
Third: Any Hunter can start this as long as their 90+.
First thing you do is find Gara. Where I am on the map below actually.
Next you interact with her and hit the option to "Scratch behind the ears."
Next your SUPPOSE to give her the berries as mentioned above, but as I noticed and many others noticed in forums when I looked it up: Its bugged. If you have berries and cant get the next option to pop then try and delete WTF, Cache, Interface folders. Restart your WoW, and disable addons. If none of that works then try to move on to the next step and see if ya get the drops!
My Suggestions:
Start this at 90. You'll have to run all over the place anyway, why not get the stuff you need next while leveling?
Don't let Bugs get ya down. The one im suffering at this point is actually been going on since 6.0 when I unknowingly started! In fact, I assumed it was 100 only when there wasn't much to go on and found that you needed shadow berries to 'move on'. I accidently got part of the next Effigy while questing and looked it up. Who knew?
Multiple hunters can start, work, and finish this together. This means if you got a 100 hunter friend then your 90 hunter can do it with them. Since your facing a 100 elite, ya don't need to rush and get it at 90 unless ya got backup.
